Our Vision

Located in the heart Oconee County, Knox Creek is a world-class camp just waiting to happen — a place where thousands of kids will someday hear the Gospel and experience opportunities that will change their lives. Situated in the shadow of iconic Table Rock State Park and boarding the beautiful Sumter National Forest, this stunning property with extraordinary potential is primed to become one of the South’s most popular retreat centers.

The long-term vision for Knox Creek is to build a 1,000 bed campus to host a variety of groups and activities on the property. This is a long-term vision with multiple milestones along the way. The campus will be built in 4 phases, with each adding additional capacity, activities, and infrastructure to the property. Each initiative will expand our potential and serve as an additional opportunity to host ministries in our community and across the Southeast.

Development at Knox Creek

After construction is complete, Knox Creek seeks to be financially self-sufficient. All operational expenses, maintenance, and administrative costs will be paid from revenue generated by hosted retreats and events on the property. Only future capital projects and expansion will require fundraising to continue to the ministry of Knox Creek. Our policy at Knox Creek will be to first raise the funds and then to develop new projects, facilities, and amenities. This is so the retreat fee that summer and school season guests pay is minimized to reflect true operating costs. This practice also allows us to develop new projects to a standard of excellence and provide our service as a true ministry.
